The Problem

Calories only tell part of the story

Most trackers stop at calories and macros, but the vitamins and minerals in your food have a huge impact on how you think, sleep, and feel. The apps that do track micronutrients bury them in dense tables and clinical jargon that only a dietitian could love, so most people never learn whether they're getting enough iron, magnesium, or zinc.

The Product

Research-grade nutrition data, made approachable

Kiwi is a nutrition tracker that goes beyond calories to show the full picture of vitamins and minerals in everything you eat. It translates that detail into things people actually care about, like brainpower, muscle and performance, beauty, and sleep and recovery, so you can see which foods give you what without having to study nutrition.

Engineering

Logging that's as easy as the insights

Detailed data is only useful if people keep logging. Users can snap a photo of their plate, scan a barcode, or just say what they ate, and Kiwi uses AI to match each item against research-grade nutrition databases like NCCDB, returning a full breakdown of calories, macros, vitamins, and minerals in seconds.

Product Design

Nutrition you don't need a degree to understand

We designed Kiwi to make learning about nutrition feel engaging instead of overwhelming. Bold progress rings, playful goal scores, and simple daily targets turn dozens of nutrients into something you can understand at a glance, while the full detail is always one tap away for anyone who wants to dig deeper.
